It’s a scary world that mega corporations are creating! Frankenfoods are already on the supermarket shelves and not many are labeled GMO free. Monsanto and the other companies genetically engineering our food, are on a mission to control our food supply – not only vegetables and fruit but also meat and fish!
If we can’t stop this science fiction-like horror then we must grow all of our own food in our own greenhouses filtered to prevent GMO pollen from entering the greenhouses.
The omnivores will also have to grow enough food to feed their livestock if they want to eat meat. Those who eat fish will also have to have indoor fish tanks in a climate controlled environment.

Other than just signing petitions against GMO foods, call your US Senators and US Representative, your representatives to your state and county government to discuss how you feel about this. You should also talk to the managers of the markets at which you shop to encourage them to increase their variety of organic foods and produce.
You’ll be surprised to discover that not many of the people who work in markets (big or small) know what GMO foods are! I find that the smaller markets are more amenable to your requests. My local market has added more vegan prepared foods at my request. At first, the purchase prices they sold them at were quite a bit higher, but now the prices have been lowered as a result of increased sales of those products. I’ve spoken to the produce manager several times about increasing their variety of organic produce and he listened!
If USDA won’t ban frankenfoods, let’s do what other local communities have done to stop fracking in their communities: community-by community — We can do this!
